What we use

Organisers enter referee names, playing teams, affiliations, certifications, availability status and match assignments. The planner uses these details to check who can referee a match and to prepare the schedule. Administrators sign in with their account; their account identity is used to decide whether they may edit the planner. The planner does not ask visitors to create an account to view the public schedule.

What is public

Match times, pitches and teams are visible without signing in. A referee’s name and assignment become public on this site and in its public CSV export only when an administrator publishes that match’s referee assignments. Referee certifications and affiliations remain in the administrator view. Please bear in mind that a published schedule can be copied or shared by others.

Where information goes

The planner stores its schedule and referee details in its hosted database. It uses account sign-in to restrict edits. If administrators configure Google Sheets synchronization, the public CSV export can be copied into a Google Sheet; unpublished referee names are omitted from that export. The planner also requests live match times and scores from quadball.live while the schedule is open. Opening an external link takes you to that service, where its own privacy practices apply.

AI and this site

AI assistance was used to build this website. Its referee eligibility checks and schedule displays run as ordinary application logic. Viewing or editing the planner does not, by itself, submit referee data to an AI model for a decision.

Retention and your choices

Organisers should keep referee information only as long as needed for tournament administration and remove it when it is no longer needed. The Quadball Nations Cup policy says sensitive personal data is removed after two years. If you would like to ask what information is held about you, request a correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern, contact gdpr@quadballnationscup.org.
